Seton Hill first welcomed veterans in 1946, when 40 World War II veterans were accepted as students to what had been, 直到那年, exclusively a women's college. Department of Defense 教育的好处

Military 学费 Assistance

The Department of Defense 学费 Assistance (TA) program offers funding for eligible active duty, 国民警卫队, and Reserve service members. For military 学费 Assistance, service members begin the process by contacting their Education Service Officer (E.S.O.). Students using 学费 Assistance must meet with their Education Service Officer prior to enrolling in classes to ensure they meet eligibility requirements. The tuition assistance service usually pays the TA funding directly to the institution.

When requesting approval for TA, use the federal school code OPE-ID 003362-00 for Seton Hill University. Once your tuition assistance form is approved, please send a copy to the School Certifying Official in the Office of Financial Services and Registrar at beckel@soulnotemusic.com. Submission of the approved tuition assistance form is required for each semester using TA benefits.

V.A. 教育的好处

如果你是退伍军人, active duty service member, or dependent of either, you may be eligible for 教育 benefits offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (V.A.). The veteran and/or their dependents must first complete an application for benefits on the Veterans Administration (V.A.门户). Full 学费 Paid for Veterans Through the Post- 9/11 GI 比尔®

Seton Hill is proud to partner with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to provide full tuition benefits to eligible veterans or their dependents through the 9/11后的退伍军人法案® and the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program. 通过法案, the VA will cover tuition for eligible veterans in an amount that equals the highest in-state tuition for a public institution of higher learning. Through the Yellow Ribbon GI Enhancement Program, Seton Hill and the VA will cover any additional tuition costs, so that veterans who want to attend Seton Hill can do so without paying extra tuition for attending a private institution. Eligible veterans or their dependents can also receive a book allowance and monthly allowance for housing costs. Military benefits are certified for the entire enrollment period. Seton Hill does not certify military benefits for a period shorter than the length of the semester for which the student is enrolled. For more information about this new benefit, visit 9/11后的退伍军人法案.

合资格人士, funding from the Veterans Administration, Seton Hill University, and other sources of grants and scholarships will cover up to the cost of tuition and fees based upon their eligibility. Federal grants and loans and state grants will be awarded based on VA, federal and state regulations.

Seton Hill seeks to maximize financial aid opportunities for all students. 因此, in cases where a student's total 教育al benefits are above direct tuition and fees charges, Seton Hill will reduce other forms of institutional aid.

Once the recipient's Yellow Ribbon entitlement has been exhausted Seton Hill may reinstate the institutional scholarships or grants to assist with unmet charges, provided the student has maintained satisfactory progress, conduct and attendance.

9/11后的GI法案®

The 9/11后的GI法案®, also known as Chapter 33, provides up to 36 months of support for tuition and fees, a monthly housing allowance, and a books and supplies stipend of up to $1,000 per year to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 10, 2001, or for individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the 9/11后的GI法案®. Service members may elect to transfer their unused benefits to qualifying dependents.

Seton Hill University is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. If you qualify for the 9/11后的GI法案®, you also may be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Slots for the Yellow Ribbon Program are unlimited for undergraduate programs (and limited to specific graduate programs).
